Fastening has a high importance in the automotive industry: The precision of the bolted fastening of about 250 screws of a middle class vehicle decides on the safety of this vehicle. If these so- called safety relevant A-fastening connections are not exactly executed in process by the automotive manufacturers, they endanger body and lives of the driver. Among others wheels, axes, engine, gears, doors, seat belts, brakes, gas or clutch are counted to these fastenings. These bolted fastenings are subject to strict controls to the final inspection in the quality departments of the automotive manufacturers. So that the automotive manufacturers can guarantee the demanded safety and quality, handheld, very exact fastening systems are used particularly in heavily accessible places.

The fastening systems of Lübbering fulfil the most different requirements on the screw itself, the process of fastening and the torque: Of some few newton metres for smaller holders and hinges up to several hundred newton metres at engine and transmission connections or at the chassis.
